Another beautiful day of paintball!!! We had about 16-20 players on the field and we had some
great games.
We had an old friend show up and play very well. Welcome back to the game, Will !! We were glad to
have you back and you showed you are playing just as hard as you used too!!
We had some new faces to the game and introduced Joe to the world of Civil War and some one on one duels.
He gave as good as he got and I believe he is now addicted to the game. Lonnie L. showed up with his pistol to duel with us
and played a mini Civil War game. When he took his time the pistol proved very accurate and hard hitting!!
Marc R. was back on the field and as usual was force to be reckoned with. With "Godzilla" on his team
this was a pair of players who had to be dealt with quickly or you were in trouble as I found out in one moment of stupidity....I
rung the "stupid" bell a few times today...
We are having a team meeting on Saturday, April 26th at the Grambolis on Pendleton Pike. The meeting
will begin at 1:00 p.m.. We will be discussing the upcoming 3 Man and Night Game as well as dues and other games and events
coming up.
The Spring 3 Man Tournament is scheduled for May 10th,2008. Rain date is May 17th,2008. Sign
up will start at 9:00 a.m. and the first game will go off at 11:00. The rules and game play are the same and they are
on this on the The Basic Rules for Tournaments page. Check them out and if you have any questions please contact me. We will
have an explanation of the rule before the first game goes off.
The fees are $10.00 per player ($30.00 per team). Come on out even if you don't have a team and
we will get you on a team!!! Remember this is a Field Only Paint Tournament so if you bring your own paint there will a $5.00
fee per team member.
The Spring Night Game is scheduled for May 31st, 2008. Rain Date is June 7th. Fees,start time and
schedule of events will be posted at a later date. Check out the Night Game rules page on our site. I don't see any major
changes to the rules at this time.

4-12-08
The scheduled Open game on 4-6 went off as planned. Some area of the field were swampy looking so we had
to change some boundary lines. This,however, didn't make a difference in the game play at all. The games were hot and competitive
and a good time was had by all. We had around 20-25 players on the field and we had some old familiar faces show up too.
First... coming all the way from Illinois was Boram J.. She also brought the son of one of her friends too.
Some of you will remember her as my son John's girlfriend from games past. She played and also reffed some of our Tournaments
and Night games. Although she didn't play she brought Jamie to play and he played pretty good. He was a little shy at first
but warmed up quickly and played the whole day. After the game she took the family and some friends out to dinner and paid
for all of it !!!
Second..."Super" Dave made an appearance and also played as hard as ever. Although he has aged he hasn't
lost a step. It's been a long time since we have seen him and we hope he comes back. What do you say about that, Dave?
Third... Mark F. showed up to kibitz and observe. Looks like he might start playing again. He hasn't played
since the last Night Game. We need you back Mark !!!
Last, but not least... Steve S. showed up and painted everything and everyone in sight ...as usual !!! Steve
also hadn't played since the last Night Game. So...hopefully we will see more of his cute,but naive face....
Mike and Charlie have opened up the field to weekly play if you want to. Check the Games and Events page
to see when the field is open for play. The next schedule Open Game for F.O.G. is 4-20. Start time will be 1:00. Keep checking

Hey gang, tell your friends about the field !!! This is a great field to play on and Mike and Charlie know
how to put a game day together and make it competitive AND fun !!! Let's get some new faces out on the field of play and let
others enjoy what we have !!!
The Spring 3 Man Tournament and Night Game are coming up and I will have the dates,times, cost and schedules
of events posted by this Friday. Check out the basic rules for both of these events on this site. There may be some minor
changes and if there are you will be notified before the game dates. There will be some pricing changes so be aware of this
!!!
Also, the Michigan World Challenge is coming up in September. Check out their web site at www.hellsurvivors.com for more info. Pre-reg deadline is August 1st. If you are planning to go please contact me so I can get the right number
of Hotel rooms reserved. If you have any questions please feel free to contact me and I will get the info to you.
Workdays will be coming up and the field needs a lot of work. The work days will be posted on site and in
team e-mails. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

As you all know by now the 3-09 and 3-22 games were canceled due to the weather conditions. The next Open
game is 4-06 at the New Field. Start time will be 1:00 p.m.. We should have paint and Co2 on the field. We will probably not
have H.P.
We will be having workdays coming up and we need all the help we can get. We will be repairing the permanent
bunkers and putting up safety nets as well as putting up more air bunkers. I will be posting work dates as they come up. If
you have any questions please feel free to contact me or Mike R..
Also... the Spring 3 Man and the Spring Night Games are coming up in May. The game dates and rain dates
will be posted soon along with the schedule of events for each event. Be aware that there will some changes in pricing too.
Pre-reg for Michigan is here again. Pre-reg deadline is August 1st,2008. You can pre-reg on line to save
a little money. This is a Field ONLY Paint game. Also if you are planning to go let me know so I can get Hotel reservations
and make sure all who are going have a ride up there. The dates are September 27-28,2008. You can get more info and pre-reg

3-1-08
The 2-24 game went off beautifully. We had 25 players on the field and the weather was great !! The new
start time worked out great because players who would normally arrive late arrived right on time. We played till around 5:00
and we had plenty of air and paint to go around. The honor of the Kamikaze player of the day goes out to Lonnie L !!!
Playing with pistol for most of the day he made some spectacular charges and dived over bunkers to get kills!!! An outstanding
performance!!! Another note.."Godzilla" was on the field and played like he was 20 years old and without a care in the world!!!
It show you're only as old as you feel !!!
Again, thanks to Mike R. and Charlie for putting up with us and putting on another good show. Thanks goes
out again to Mike R. for supplying the air and rental guns and to Charlie for reffing some of the games. More kudos go to
Marc R. for bringing out the paint. It was a great day for paintball !!
If you guys and/or gals have any cameras or recorders bring 'em out !! We are in the process of updating
the pictures we have on the site and any new ones would be helpful. Marc R. brought out his new digital camera and took some
awesome pictures of individual players and of the action throughout the day. I was just looking at some pictures he took of
"yours truly" and I have got to say that I am beautiful AND very photogenic !! I should have been an actor...(sigh)...another
shattered dream !! Anyway... we are also updating our links and directory pages with more F.O.G. "friendly" ads. We will also
be updating contact numbers and contact info for Open games, Tournaments and Parties/Private games. Be aware of these changes
and check out the site for more info.
Another item for all of you to think about. We will be having workdays coming up soon and we will need as
much help as we can get. Any help you can give,even just one day,would be greatly appreciated ! The permanent bunkers need
to be repaired and we need to clean up the debris on the field. Mike R. is getting some more air bunkers and the safety netting
from the old field. This field has a lot of pontential and with a little work this can beneficial all the way around.
The date for the Summer 3 Man Tournament is May 3rd, 2008. The rain date is May 10th, 2008. The date for
the Summer Night Game is May 24th, 2008. The rain date is May 31st, 2008. This date may change so keep an eye on the site
for that possible change. The times and schedule of events will be posted shortly. Be aware that there will be some pricing
changes too.
The next Open game will be 3-09. Start time will be 1:00p.m.. I will not be there so Marc R., Mike R. and
Charlie will be running the show. Also ...remember the field fees have changed so check out the Games and Events page and
the Open Play pages on the site.
We will be starting to hold the Party and Private games at the New field. Spread
the word and let your friends and families know. We do put on some pretty good shows.

We held our scheduled team meeting on 2-16 and cleared the air on some issues that were concerning me.We
had the usual core group as well as Mike R. and Charlie. The meeting was very productive.
The field fees have been increased. Fees will now be $10.00 for paid F.O.G. members and $15.00 for reservists
and walk-ons. Becoming a F.O.G. member is easy and you will save money in the long run. Paint and Co2 prices will remain the
same at this point.
The H.P. compressor will be repaired soon but we will not have H.P. for a couple of games.
Start times for Open Games on Sundays have been moved back to 1:00 p.m.. Start times for games on any other
dates will be adjusted accordingly. Remember... the field is open for play on any given date. If you want to play please contact
me and I will arrange it with Charlie and/or Mike R. to get the logistics down so the game can go. We will keep the game schedule
as close to normal as possible. The game dates will be posted as always on the Games and Events page on the site.
The dates have been decided on for the Spring 3 Man tournament and the Spring Night game. The dates,start
times and fees will be posted shortly. These will be held on Saturdays.
The next Open Game will be 2-24 at the New Field. Start time will be 1:00 p.m.. As far as weather...as long
as the temp is 33 or above,winds under 20 mph, and little or no rain, this game will go!!! Bring some old wood to burn just
in case!!! You will be contacted if anything changes.
There are other changes coming and I will inform you before these changes are implemented.
We will be starting to hold the Party and Private games at the New field. Spread the word
and let your friends and families know. We do put on some pretty good shows.

As you can see the 2-10 game has been cancelled due to the weather. We are trying to stay
on schedule as far as open game dates are concerned. Please remember that if you want to play on any date contact ME so I
can see if we can get an open game going. We do have access to another field to play on so we don't have to have a minimum
number of players to have a game. There will be no field fee as we usually pay. The field is behind the church I attend and
the fee will be whatever you want to give and it will go to the church for letting us play on their field. The money you donate
will go to the church to help some of their young missionaries pay for a trip to Africa to share the gospel with the Muslim
population. How much you give is entirely up to you and you do not have to give if you don't want to !!! The Pastor
plays paintball and said you don't have to give anything!!
The game times on this field will be around 1:00 pm if we play on Sundays and we can play as long as we
want to. Do any of you have problems with moving our game dates to Saturdays for whatever field we play on ??? Let me know
what all of you think about this.
We will be having a team meeting soon and I will let all of you know the time and place as soon as I hear
from Mike R.. Everyone is welome to attend whether you are an Active F.O.G. member or not. Remember, becoming
an Active member is easy and very cost efficient for you as a player and team member!!!
Remember....if you want to play on any given date please let me know and we will try to get a game
going.

keep checking the site and your e-mails for this info. I am also looking for catchy titles to call our Spring and Summer night
games (i.e. our Fall night game is "The Children fo the Corn" game).

As you can all see the 1-27 game has been cancelled. I have posted the next group of scheduled games on
the Games and Events page. We will try and get an open game going for 2-3-08. This is Super Bowl Sunday but we should
be done in plenty of time to see the game. If you want to play contact me or Mike R. and let us know. Even though we need
10 players normally we can get by with 7-8 players. If you want to play let us know.
We are going to try and play any time we have a break in the weather even if a game is not scheduled
for that date. If you are like me you are going nuts waiting for any chance to play again. Hopefully we will get a chance
soon and get back to a normal playing schedule.
We are working on getting the H.P. compressor running properly and moved to the new field. It still works
but is very slow filling the tanks at this time. We are trying to get it fixed so be patient.
I am working on the dates for the Spring 3 Man Tournament and the Spring Night
Game. Dates and times will be posted as soon as possible. The schedule of events and fees for both events will be coming shortly
there after. Keep an eye on your e-mails and the website.

game and a winter tournament if the weather cooperates along with a full moon for the night game. If you have any input
on this please let me know.
If you have any ideas for game scenarios for any game please let me know. We are always looking for new
ideas to make the games more challenging and fun

Sorry it has taken me so long to catch up. Hope all of you had a Merry CHRISTmas and a Happy
and SAFE New Year.
First off are the election results. Since nobody ran for Captain besides me I guess that means I'm Captain
again if that is ok with you guys. We need a volunteer for Sec/Treas. If nobody volunteers I will have to appoint someone.
